PLEASE HELP Read the excerpt from Martin Luther King Jr.’s "The American Dream” speech.
horrorfan [7]

Answer:

the use of repetition

Explanation:

According the excerpts from Martin Luther King Jr.’s "The American Dream” speech and Governor George Wallace's inaugural address, Martin Luther King repeats the word "dream" to make his speech more effective while Governor Wallace repeats the word "lives" to connect to the audience better and make his speech more effective.

Therefore, the technique that makes both excerpts effective is the use of repetition

ASAP ASAP!! SOMEONEE!!
yuradex [85]

Answer:

- you're not in this alone and even if it the small stuff like a baby or if it's a family member or loved one, remember you are loved and needed.

- even if you think you are alone and you have nothing just remember no matter how big or small there is always a hand reaching towards you. A hand that needs you for who you are. So don't give up and keep trying to be the person you want to be even if it's just for that hand. But remember try to be the person you want to be for that hand and for yourself don't force anything in to you. Try reaching out to that hand that's reaching for you even if it hurts and you want to give up, because that hand is your anchor and it will help you through tough times.

Shakespeare uses figurative language often in his writing. What are some examples of allusion and hyperbole in this passage?
Nutka1998 [239]
An example of allusion in this would be "Cupid" because he is alluding to the famous character in mythology.
Ex. of an allusion to help you better understand: if it's capitalized in the middle of a sentence, it's sure to be an allusion. An allusion can be a significant place, landmark, or person; for example, Barack Obama or the Eiffel Tower.

An example of a hyperbole from the excerpt would be "sick in love" (I think. Shakespeare is a little tough to understand, even for me, lol) because the statement is exaggerated.

I hope this helped! ♥
