Among the movements is the Marshall Plan and the Truman doctrine, which was promoted by the United States, aimed to provide economic aid to Western European countries to support the reconstruction of these countries by the consequences of the Second World War, they wanted to improve the economy and increase industrialization, and increase international trade, to prevent European countries from being forced to accept the help of the Soviet Union and communism from spreading.

the main movement of the set of actions that can be seen as opposing to the soviet and communist influence around the was the "Containment Policy" of the United States of America, in which the US Government  began to assist nations in Africa, Latin America and Asia financially, economically and even militarily.

US Presidents such as President Eisenhower, President Ronald Reagan, president John F. Kennedy were major powers that went on to weaken the soviet power diplomatically.

Meanwhile in Europe, leaders like president Charles de Gaule on France, Margaret Thatcher in United Kingdom did their best in their own countries to thwart the rise of communism in their political systems.

In Asia, leaders like J.R Jayawardene of Sri Lanka, prime minister Bhutto in Pakistan and Saudi Royal family introduced major open economic policies that would prevent the influence of the Soviet Union.
