Answer:

62.7°

Step-by-step explanation:

9 = Hypotenuse

8 = Opposite

In this question we have to use some trigonometry to work out angle EFG. The first thing we need to identify is will formula will we use out of the following:

Sin⁻¹ = Opposite ÷ Hypotenuse

Tan⁻¹ = Opposite ÷ Adjacent

Cos⁻¹ = Adjacent ÷ Hypotenuse

We know which formula to use because the length won't be in the triangle for example we will be using the Sin triangle because we don't have an adjacent. If we don't have an adjacent then the other formula's won't work.

Now we substitute in the values

Sin⁻¹ = Opposite ÷ Hypotenuse

Sin⁻¹ = 8 ÷ 9

The value of angle EFG is 62.73395555

We are given an isosceles triangle.

An isosceles triangle has corresponding angles of corresponding sides same.

Therefore, other angle is also of (3x+7) degrees.

(5x+13) and (3x+7) makes a linear pair.

Therefore,

(5x+13) + (3x+7)  = 180

5x +13 + 3x +7 = 180.

8x +20 = 180.

Subtracting 20 from both sides, we get

8x +20-20 = 180-20.

8x = 160

Dividing both sides by 8, we get

x = 20.

Therefore, correct option is 3rd option.

Calculate the annual return percentage
const2013 [10]
The annual returns will be calculated as follows:
a] Here we use the formula:
A=p(1+r/100)^n
A=future amount
p=principle
r=returns
n=time
We are given:
A=500, p=400, t=1
Plugging the values in the formula we obtain:
500=400(1+r)^1
simplifying and solving for r:
1.25=1+r
thus
r=1.25-1
r=0.25~25%

b] Using the formula above:
A=p(1+r/100)^n
A=2500+100=2600, p=2000, n=1 year
plugging the values in the equation we obtain:
2600=2000(1+r)^1
simplifying and solving for r we obtain:
2600/2000=1+r
1.3=1+r
hence
r=1.3-1
r=0.3~30%

Every day, the Scott Pet Store uses 3 bags of dog food to feed the dogs. For how many days will 1/2 of a bag of dog food last?
nadezda [96]
If you would like to know for how many days will 1/2 of a bag of dog food last, you can calculate this using the following steps:

1 day ... 3 bags of dog food
x days = ? ... 1/2 of a bag of dog food

1 * 1/2 = 3 * x
1/2 = 3 * x         /3
x = 1/2 * 1/3
x = 1/6 of a day

The correct result would be 1/6 of a day.
