Describe how the Native Americans' lives changed as more white people moved west to claim the land.

When Andrew Jackson signed The Indian Removal Act, it became a key law that forced the removal of the native american Indians, because of this law Native Americans lives were changed by what's called " forced mitigation" or , another term it's also known as is "Indian removal" when the white settlers moved west and took conteol of the land the natives lives were changed drastically due to this law.

In the 19th century forced mitigation of the Native Americans was brought on by the United States government. Native Americans had to leave their ancestral homelands in the eastern United States and move to lands west of the Mississippi River. That was were there was land that was a specifically designated Indian Territory. Today that area is known as Oklahoma. This law was signed by Andrew Jackson in 1830.
