13 = r/12, first to cancel 12 and leave r alone you multiply it by 12 and it cancels and whatever you do on one side you do to the other. So you multiply 13 times 12 too.

You are then left with, 13•12 = r
Which is 156

Therefore,

r = 156

Write the definition of midpoint, provide a supporting figure
givi [52]

Step-by-step explanation: Using the diagram shown which I have provided in the image attached, the definition of a midpoint states that M is the midpoint of segment LN, then segment LN ≅ to MN.

The definition of a midpoint can also be stated the other way around. using the diagram shown, if segment LN ≅ to segment MN, then M is the midpoint of segment LN.

We can use hash marks in the figure to show that are 2 segments are congruent.

Answer:

  A, B

Step-by-step explanation:

After being simplified and put in standard form, the equations are ...

  A. 3x² +8x -13 = 0 . . . a quadratic

  B. 3x² -x -30 = 0 . . . . a quadratic

  C. 4x = -16 . . . . . . . . . a linear equation, not quadratic

  D. 3x⁴ -5x -6 = 0 . . . . a quartic equation, not quadratic

Both of the quadratic equations can be solved using the quadratic formula.

The population of the town increased from 175000 to 262500 in a decade. What is the average percent increase of population per y
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

5%

Step-by-step explanation:

As given,

The population of the town increased from 175000 to 262500 in a decade.

⇒ In 10 years , population increased from 175000 to 262500

⇒% increase = \frac{262500 - 175000}{175000}× 100% = \frac{87500}{175000}×100% = 0.5×100% = 50%

Now,

Average % increase = \frac{percent increase}{Total years} = \frac{50}{10}% = 5%

∴ we get

Average percent increase of population per year = 5%

Please be kind and help me with this question!<br> WARNING: only if your good at math thank you #3
Alexxx [7]

First of all, look at the figure, The ABC orientation is changed from clockwise to counterclockwise, so an odd number of reflections are involved.

Second, look at the answer choices. Right away, you notice that the last choice (E) involves two reflections. That cannot be the transformation you see. Since that is what the question is asking for, the appropriate choice for the transformation NOT done is ...

... E. reflection across the x-axis followed by a reflection across the y-axis

_____

I have to admit, I went through each of the choices to see if it would work to produce the image you see. All choices except E will do that. All that work turned out to be unnecessary.
