When the motion energy of an object changes there is inevitably some other change in energy at the same time. If an object is sl

owing down, where is energy going? (Check all that apply)
The potential energy could be increasing like a ball thrown into the air

the kinetic energy could be lost the friction or a resistance

the ball could be returning to its natural resisting state

due to the conservation of energy the kinetic energy must stay the same

Answer:

A. The potential energy could be increasing like a ball thrown into the air

C. the ball could be returning to its natural resisting state

Explanation:

When an object is in motion, the energy of the object changes to and from each type. When the energy slows down then there is also changes in energy forms.

The potential energy of any object in motion like throwing a ball in the ball always increases because potential energy is directly proportional to the height of the object. When a ball is thrown up the kinetic energy converted into potential energy ad the ball reaches at maximum height which increase the potential energy of the object in motion. But after attaining the maximum height the, potential energy decreases and object falls back  towards the earth.

Kinetic energy could not lost the friction because friction only prevent sliding not to prevent motion and potential energy lost it resistance while it convert into kinetic energy. So when the energy slows down it convert into potential energy converted into kinetic but kinetic energy could not lost the friction.

According to Newton's law of inertia, the ball could be returning to its natural resisting state as every object has tendency to resist changes in its velocity.

The Law of Conservation of Energy states that total energy of a system remain same but kinetic energy and potential energy do not remain same.

Hence, the correct option ar:

A. The potential energy could be increasing like a ball thrown into the air.

C. the ball could be returning to its natural resisting state.

How are Protozoa similar to animals?
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer: B) They can get food and move

Explanation:  Protozoa are single celled microscopic eukaryotic organisms which exhibit characteristics commonly found in plants and animals. Some of them undergo a process of photosynthesis like plants and others show the property of mobility and heterotrophy like animals.

Therefore, on the basis of above information they can get food and move is the correct option.

Sexual reproduction is associated with _____.
Effectus [21]
Sexual reproduction is associated with Meiosis. In this form of cell division, the number of chromosomes in the parent cells are reduced by half. The cells after division are called haploids. This mechanism is needed to make egg and sperm cells for sexual reproduction.

Which of the following occurs in a right lateral movement? A. The right condyle primarily rotates. B. The right condyle moves do
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

"The right condyle primarily rotates" occurs in a right lateral movement

Explanation:

The mandibular condyle is dynamically participate in endochondral ossification. The condylar cartilage is an significant development place in the mandible, paying to the elongation of the mandibular ramus. A protrusive energy happens when the mandible deviates (both of condyles) onward and descending along the slope of the articular eminence Happens though cutting and grasping food. This shift happens subsequently the condyle rotates. Regular motion of the mandible relies on appropriate role of the TMJ. Visibly, the preauricular area lies straight over the joint.
