On a coordinate plane, a triangle has points A (negative 2, negative 2), B (1, negative 5), and C (negative 5, negative 5). If a

Answer:

(3, –12)

Step-by-step explanation:

The coordinates of the original triangle are

A(-2, -2), B(1, -5) and C(-5, -5).

The transformation is a translation of 2 units to the right side and 7 units downside. Applying the rule in each coordinate, we have

A'(-2+2 , -2-7) = A'(0, -9)

B'(1+2 , -5-7) = B'(3, -12)

C'(-5+2 , -5-7) = C'(-3 , -12)

Therefore, the coordinates of vertex B' are (3, -12), so the right answer is the last choice.

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (-1, -7) and
Kay [80]

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

slope formula= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(-1,-7) is (x1,y1)

(-2,-5) is (x2,y2)

Plug in numbers into slope equation

((-5)-(-7))/((-2)-(-1)) = 2/-1

Simplify

answer= -2

The answer is four because there's one line that is placed on the origin which makes it no solution because there's not supposed to be a line on the origin and number 1 is a solution because there are neither lines plotted on the origin and has parallel lines

I need to know how to do this ?
Norma-Jean [14]
When you add the degrees of all the angles in a triangle you should get 180

A= 5x+5
B= 90
C= 3x+5

5x + 3x = 8x
5 + 90 + 5 = 100

8x + 100 = 180 this is the equation
-100 -100
————————
8x = 80 ➡️ divide BOTH sides by 8

x = 10

Now plug 10 into angles A and C

5(10)+5= 55
3(10)+5= 35

A= 55 , B= 90 , C=35
