elipses are used to show something has been left out e.g. in a quote to make it shorter.

2. capital letters are used at the start of sentences of proper nouns.

e.g. Susan, Jack ,Sam

3. a colon is normally used in a list or in clarification.

e.g.  I knew he earnt it : he really deserved that space on the team

4. Dash, a dash is normally used to show a pause and it can also be used in the role as brackets.

e.g. i saw him - he was hiding in the trees- the dirty rascal

5. the comma is normally used to show a pause it is sometimes used for showing extra information.

e.g. i saw it, it was really big, and fled.
