Answer:

1.260

Step-by-step explanation:

Each time we add a side (triangle to quadrilateral, quadrilateral to pentagon, etc), we add another 180° to the total:

If it is a Regular Polygon (all sides are equal, all angles are equal)

Shape Sides Sum of

Interior Angles Shape Each Angle

Triangle 3 180° regular triangle 60°

Quadrilateral 4 360° regular quadrilateral 90°

Pentagon 5 540° pentagon regular 108°

Hexagon 6 720° hexagon regular 120°

Heptagon (or Septagon) 7 900° heptagon refular 128.57...°

Octagon 8 1080° octagon regular 135°

Nonagon 9 1260° nonagon regular 140°

Any Polygon n (n−2) × 180° regular n gon (n−2) × 180° / n

So the general rule is:

Sum of Interior Angles = (n−2) × 180°

Each Angle (of a Regular Polygon) = (n−2) × 180° / n

Perhaps an example will help:

Example: What about a Regular Decagon (10 sides) ?

regular decagon

Sum of Interior Angles = (n−2) × 180°

= (10−2) × 180°

= 8 × 180°

= 1440°

And for a Regular Decagon:

Each interior angle = 1440°/10 = 144°

Note: Interior Angles are sometimes called "Internal Angles"

PLZZZZZ HELP ME Find the sum
mario62 [17]

Answer:

27 \frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, so first substitute x for 4 in

"g(x) = 5x + 1", and x for 3 in

"k(x) = 2/x + 2x". Now you got:

g(4) = 5(4) + 1

k(3) = 2/(3) + 2(3)

Now you can solve each individually.

g(4) = 5 × 4 = 20

20 + 1 = 21

g(4) = 21

k(3) = 2 × 3 = 6

6 + 2/3 = 6 2/3

k(3) = 6 2/3

g(4) + k(3) = 21 + 6 2/3 = 27 2/3

Hope this helps :)

Find the perimeter of the figure shown above. a. 18 yds c. 20 yds b. 10 yds d. 24 yds Please select the best answer from the cho
ycow [4]

Answer: 24 yards, choice D

There are 4 sides to this figure (trapezoid). The left slanted side and the right most vertical side, combined with the top and bottom horizontal sides, will get us the perimeter.

left slanted side = 5 yards

right most vertical side = 4 yards (see note below)

bottom side = 9 yards

top side = 6 yards

Add up the four sides mentioned: 5+4+9+6 = 9+15 = 24

note: the rectangle has opposite sides that are the same length. While the right most side isn't labeled, it is the same length as the left side of the rectangle, so both are 4 yards long.

Another thing I should probably mention is that we do not add in the interior 4 yard side. The perimeter is only the outer or exterior sides we care about. Think of it like we're trying to fence around some property lot and we don't want to subdivide the property up. Finding the perimeter will help us find the amount of fencing needed to surround the property.
