Yes, after seeing the killing of a innocent young man, it has opened my eyes that many officers take advantage of their power and treat others like garbage. Police officers should be helpful and kind.

after the attention was brought to this cause (black lives matter) i realized how the police department has such an negative impact on black people and how unfair and how cruel they have been treated just because the color of their skin. before this i belived everyone could trust the police department and that they treat everyone with respect and do their job, however after the death of george floyd and many others i realized how messed up the (some) of the police department really is.

So, to put it simply, a hyperbole is a statement, but it’s not supposed to be taken literal. It’s an exaggeration. And you want one for thanksgiving... so it could be something like:

“The thanksgiving feast at my house was so big, it could’ve fed an army.”

Now we know that this person didn’t have enough food at that feast to feed an actual army, but from this hyperbole, we know that there was a lot of food at this feast.
