Patient presents to the operative suite with a biopsy proven squamous cell carcinoma of the left ankle. A decision was made to r

emove the lesion and apply a split thickness skin graft on the site. The lesion was excised as drawn and documented as measuring 2.4 cm with margins. Using the Padgett dermatome, the surgeon harvested a split-thickness skin graft from the left thigh, which was meshed 1.5 x 1 and then inserted into the ankle wound using a skin stapler. Xeroform bolster was then placed on the skin graft using Xeroform and 4-0 nylon. The lower extremity was wrapped with bulky cast padding and double Ace wrap. The skin graft donor site was dressed with OpSite. The surgeon noted the skin graft measured 9 cm² in total. What CPT® and ICD-10-CM codes are reported?

I found a mouse in my sister's room today, and its 37 degrees outside and windy. The mouse was bitten by my cat, not terribly, b
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

DO NOT KILL OR PUT DOWN the poor little guy. I have faced a similar situation where my family found a week, injured opossum. The mouse you found still has a life to live, and you should honor that. Take him/her to a vet to see what you can do for him/her. I'm sure you can find a medication to treat the bites. Then, also try looking for a wildlife rescue center. They specialize in these areas and can provide medical treatment as well as a place for the little one to live. Also, keep the mouse inside and find a space to let him/her rest, such as a bathtub or large box. I wish you and your mouse luck!

Our stomachs secrete HCL. Knowing the function of antacids, what do you think causes most upset stomachs?
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

Indigestion due to lack of HCl

Explanation:

Indigestion has many causes. One of the most common causes is a deficiency in stomach acid (HCl). This inability to produce adequate stomach acid is common in people over 50 years of age who are free of gastric disease. Some studies even report as high as 25-35% of the elderly have this condition.
