First you must have a goal to what you are investing so much money in. Without a goal, there is no motivation. For example, you want a nice house that you've seen in Beverly Hills that is a few million, you want to save up to buy that house and life a luxurious life after. There that's your motivation, now just restrain yourself from buying stuff that are not necessities.

Why do people risk their lives for Democracy? ( in 200 Words pls)
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

If we examine democracy within a certain country, we can definitely conclude that people are able to participate within the government, whether it be directly, or indirectly (a republic). In each case, people are involved in the government, and the people that they choose to elect can affect the laws that are passed, the actions that are taken, etc.

Explanation:

Example: If I vote to elect someone I think would make a great president, I would want him to serve not only myself, but my country as well. In addition, the actions that president takes can have a critical effect on future events. In other words, the actions they do now, can have an effect on decisions in the future.

A government is laissez-faire when it
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Original Question: A government is laissez-faire when it?

Answer: does not interfere with business affairs and does not regulate its actions

Explanation: Laissez-faire is an economic term that economists use when describing an unregulated market

An unregulated market in being the fact that the government doesn't involve us in the business world.

Its benefit is that allows for substantial growth in the industry as businesses are not bound by rules and regulations could increase the cost and decrease their efficiency.

However it is unbeneficial when businesses began to set up 'monoplies' and 'set inadequate working standards' that harm other businesses and workers. That is when the government would step in to regulate the market and break the laissez-faire terms on how to run a market.

Hope that helps!

Read the passage below. Highlight or underline words and phrases that you feel are important to understanding the document. In t
matrenka [14]

The most important words and phrases in this text are those that emphasize the sacrifice of soldiers who died for the freedom of the country.

In this case, we can note that the most important words and phrases presented in the text shown in the question above are:

 • " The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. "
 • "that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion"
 • "that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain — that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom "

These sentences are important for understanding the text because they explore that the fact that war ended the lives of men willing to fight for their own country and that these men, as well as the suffering that war goes through, cannot be forgotten, but it must be perpetuated and explained to the next generations so that moments like this are not repeated.

Lincolns goal in declaiming this speech was to promote honor to dead soldiers by dedicating a cemetery to them, regardless of whether they belonged to the union or the confederation.

Furthermore, he wanted to inspire the people, to be proud of his soldiers and to continue to fight for freedom, as many died for it.

With that, we can conclude that Lincoln stimulated the sentimentality of the public, leaving them moved by the sacrifice of American and honorable men.

In this case, we can see that Lincoln used the retoricon resource known as pathos, which reinforces sentimentality in a speech. You can get more information about pathos at the link below:
