Answer:

F(x)=6x^3+2x

Step-by-step explanation:

Odd functions have solely odd powers of x.

F(x)=4x^3+7      is actually   F(x) = 4x^3 + 7x^0, which is neither even nor odd.

F(x)=6x^3+2x   has only odd powers of x:  x^3 and x^1.  This is the answer.

Answer:

\large\boxed{f(x)=6x^3+2x}

Step-by-step explanation:

\text{If}\ f(-x)=f(x)\ \text{then}\ f(x)\ \text{is an even function.}\\\\\text{If}\ f(-x)=-f(x)\ \text{then}\ f(x)\ \text{is an odd function.}

======================================================

f(x)=3x^2+x\\\\f(-x)=3(-x)^2+(-x)=3x^2-x\\\\f(-x)\neq f(x)\ \wedge\ f(-x)\neq-f(x)\\\\============================\\\\f(x)=4x^3+7\\\\f(-x)=4(-x)^3+7=-4x^3+7\\\\f(-x)\neq f(x)\ \wedge\ f(-x)\neq-f(x)\\\\============================\\\\f(x)=5x^2+9\\\\f(-x)=5(-x)^2+9=5x^2+9\\\\f(-x)=f(x)-\text{It's an even function}\\\\============================\\\\f(x)=6x^3+2x\\\\f(-x)=6(-x)^3+2(-x)=-6x^3-2x=-(6x^3+2x)\\\\f(-x)=-f(x)-\text{It's an odd function.}

Use the Distributive Property to find the price of 9 CDs that cost $13.99 each.
Andreas93 [3]
To use the distributive property, we "distribute" a value on the outside of a set of parentheses to all of the values on the inside of the parentheses. For example...

6(3 + 9) = 6*3 + 6*9

For your problem, you only have one value 13.99, but we can split it apart to make it a little easier to work with (like with mental math).  We can say that 13.99 is the same as 10 + 3.99.  Now we can take it and multiply by 9 with the distributive property...

9(10 + 3.99) =
9*10 + 9*3.99 =
90 + 35.91 =

$125.91

Debbie cut a cord into sixths . She used five of the to make necklaces . She used equal lengths of the remaining cord for each o
Brut [27]
So she used \frac{5}{6} of the cord to make necklaces.
1- \frac{5}{6} = \frac{1}{6}

She splits the \frac{1}{6} length into 4 equal lengths.
To divide a fraction by a fraction, you multiply it by its reciprocal.
\frac{1}{6} ( \frac{1}{4})
=\frac{1}{24}

She used \frac{1}{24} of the original chord to make each bracelet.
