Find the total spent on the food:

10.49 x 6 = 62.94

10.50 x 6 = 63.00

6.75 x 6  = 40.50

Total = 62.94 + 63.00 + 40.50 = $166.44

Next find the total in sales:

47.70 x 21 = $1001.70

Profit = total sales - cost of food:

Profit = 1001.70 - 166.44 = $835.26

Ainat [17]

The area of the figure created by Verona is 96.56 cm²

<h3>Area</h3>

Area is the amount of space occupied by a two dimensional object.

The area of the circle = (1/4) * π * 4² = 12.56 cm²

The area of the square = 8 cm * 8 cm = 64 cm²

Area of the triangle = (1/2) * 8 cm * (17 - 8 - 4) = 20 cm²

Area of the figure created by Verona = 12.56 + 64 + 20 = 96.56 cm²

The area of the figure created by Verona is 96.56 cm²

Find the cost of painting a cubical block of side length 3.2 cm, if painting costs $5 per cm2.
SashulF [63]
<h3><u>Answer</u>:- </h3>

\longrightarrow \sf \$ \: 307.2

<h3><u>Solution:-</u></h3>

Since painting is done on outer surface of cubical block we will have to find its surface area which is given by-

\green{ \underline { \boxed{ \sf{Surface \: area  \:of  \:Cube = 6a^2}}}}

  • <u>where a is side of the cube </u>

\begin{gathered}\\\quad \sf Surface \: area  \:of  \:Cube = 6\times(3.2)^2  \\\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\implies \quad \sf  6\times 3.2\times3.2   \\\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\implies \quad \sf  61.44 cm^2  \\\end{gathered}

Now,

\maltese \sf Cost  \:of  \:painting \: 1 \: cm² = \$ 5

\sf Cost \: of \: painting \: 61.44  \:cm²=61.44×5

\sf\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad=\$ 307.2

\leadstoThus it would cost $ 307.2 to paint the entire cubical block.

1/7(x+21)=-6<br> answer ?
Talja [164]
(1/7) Multiplied By x is 1/7x And (1/7) Multplied By Positive 21 is 3. So It Will Then Change To 1/7x + 3 = -6.
Subtract 3 From Both Sides. Then The Equation Changes To 1/7x = -9
Then Since (1/7) Basically Means To Divide You Would Multiply By 7 On Both Sides And Then x Would Equal -63!(:
Then Can Plug In -63 Where x Is To Check Your Work! Hope I Helped!
