Why do sociologists consider the scientific racial types of caucasian
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

* Every society's population contains a lot of genetic mixture.

* Various racial categories are genetically very much alike.

* The skin color of Caucasian people ranges from very light to very dark

The question is incomplete. The complete version of the question is

Why do sociologists consider the "scientific" racial types of Caucasian, Mongoloid, and Negroid to be misleading and even harmful?

Explanation:

Caucasian, Mongoloid, and Negroid are some of the examples of human races. And they can be explained as

Caucasoid (White) race.

Mongoloid (Oriental/Amerindian) race.

Negroid (Black) race.

They can also be regarded as the three general racial classifications of humans. This means that humans are divisible into broad sub-groups based on phenotypic characteristics such as cranial and skeletal morphology.

Phenotypic characteristics mean those characteristics that are visible or expressed in human.

In this sense, the reasons why the sociologists considered the scientific racial types to be misleading and harmful are those mentioned above.

Your friend is having a hard time with the terminology in this unit. He is confused between the terms pure substances, mixtures,
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer and Explanation:

 • Pure substances are basically chemical substances with distinct composition and properties that are constant. They may consist of one atom, molecule or compound that cannot be easily separated by physical separation technique. Examples of pure substances are iron, water, gold etc.
 • Mixtures are made up of two or more substances that are not chemically combined together, in which each substance that make up the mixture still retains their chemical identity, and can separated by physical method. Examples of mixtures are brass made up of different metals, salt water, milk etc.
 • Elements are pure chemical substances that are made up of a single type of atom which cannot be easily broken down. For example, hydrogen, oxygen, iron.
 • Compounds are made up of two more different elements that are chemically bonded together by chemical bonds. Examples include NaCl or salt, which is made up of Na and Cl; Water which is made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen
 • Homogenous mixture contains substances of uniform composition, e.g, air which consists of mixture of gases; a mixture of salt and water; milk etc. Heterogenous mixture, on the other hand contains substances whose distribution are not uniform, i.e. non-uniform. Examples are a mixture of sand and water; water and oil etc.
 • Physical change is a type of change that involves the change of form of a matter without the chemical properties being altered. This is a reversible change. On the other hand, a chemical change is an irreversible change in which the chemical properties of a matter are changed.
 • Examples of physical change are freezing of water, melting an ice cube, melting of wax etc.
 • Examples of chemical change are burning of wood, rusting of iron etc.

From the perspective of an antislavery or pro-slavery person, write a paragraph on how you feel about the outcome of the Dred Sc
Nesterboy [21]
So the Dred Scott decision was a supreme court case were the man dred scott tried to sue his owner because he ( Dred Scott) had once lived in a free state and he wanted to be free. The judge then ruled that slaves are property not people and thus cannot sue. This court case voided out the missouri compromise and partially started the civil war.

fun fact that my history teacher told us today was that slaves werent given tombstones unless they died free like Fredrick Douglass but Scott was so important he got one! Dred scott died a slave
