Explanation:

Ok so to rebuild the society after the Texas war, The new indepentant Country, first made rules. The rules were there constitution based on the Americans. Then they elected a president, and a system of checkes and balences. They still need to address every problem still in their way though. For texas, their problems were: Bankructy and Land ownership with Mexico. Under the leadership of Sam Houston, they were able to face these problems. Sam Houston, got the new independent country out of Bankruptcy, made borderlines between it and Mexico, and also was able to negotiate Annexing Texas as State. So in conclusion, the effect needed to rebuild a society after a war is great leadership.
