I need some info for an essay about Christmas, can you guys tell me what you think about when you think about Christmas?
FrozenT [24]
So basically you're asking for something like this?

Christmas to me is about giving and receiving presents, it's making moments with making hot cocoa and reading stories beside a fire -place. When I think of Christmas time, I think of snow and the smell of a freshly chopped pine tree. Christmas is a time to spend with people who care about you and you care about them. Waking up on Christmas morning to see a pile of presents under the tree, gives me a warm and happy feeling inside of myself.

During the early Middle Ages, the Vikings invasion contributed to the end of which great European empire?
tester [92]

Answer:

The North Sea Empire

Explanation:

The Viking presence dwindled until 1066, when the invading Norsemen lost their final battle with the English at Stamford Bridge. The death in the battle of King Harald Hardrada of Norway ended any hope of reviving Cnut's North Sea Empire; it is because of this, rather than the Norman conquest, that 1066 is often taken as the end of the Viking Age. Nineteen days later, the Normans, themselves descended from Norsemen, invaded England and defeated the weakened English army at the Battle of Hastings.
