Can parallel octaves occur between the bass and tenor?

Thanks! :)
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:

These rules can all be boiled down to the fundamental rule: Never move to a perfect consonance by parallel motion. Don't have anything larger than an octave between adjacent upper voices, meaning soprano-alto and alto-tenor. It is OK between the bass and tenor.

Explanation:

klasskru [66]

Orchestral percussion instruments are Either idiophones or membranophones. The most common percussion instruments in the orchestra include the timpani, xylophone, cymbals, triangle, snare drum, bass drum, tambourine, maracas, gongs, chimes, celesta, and piano.

What is Idiophone and Membranophone?

Considering these three basic systems, the instruments are further classified into:

 • Idiophones - produce sound through the vibration of solid bodies, without being subjected to tension (triangle, bell, etc).
 • Membranophones - produce sound by vibrating a membrane under tension (drums)

With this information, we can conclude that Membranophones are often also called percussion instruments or drums.

Concentration on vocal music during the Renaissance period meant that instrumental music continued to be used as mere accompanim
Dovator [93]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Vocal music had an important position in the Catholic church, which was the dominant force in Western Europe, cultural and political, therefore many of the most highly respected composers specialized in vocal music.

But, at the same time, it was a period for study and development of arts, so humanists studied ancient Greek treatises on music, which discussed the close relationship between music and poetry, and the way that music could stir the listener’s emotions.

Inspired by that studies, Renaissance composers fit words and music together in an increasingly dramatic fashion, that is how opera and other genders alike were created.

I live in New Jersey and there's always kids fighting at school. But I remember when I was walking to the park to play my favorite sport which was Basketball. The parks name was Sadowski. It had the most beautiful basketball court, anyways when I was settling down on a bench to put my sneakers on because I did not want to ruin the 300$ Jordan's I was wearing. I'm a sneaker head! So I went to preform my basketballs drills when I heard my friend screaming and crying.. She was my bestie. Tho she always got bullied for no reason. So I rushed over and seen her on the ground in the middle of a group of bullies from my school. I went to go help. But I knew I was out numbered. 5-1 So I said to them: "Hey what's the point bro she's the nicest person I know" They just stared then they started walking closer to me slowly. So I had the Instinct that I should run so I ran the chased after me.. For about an half hour this went on. And it was all boys. I was 12 at the time by the way they were 14-15 year old boys picking on some 7th graders. Out of the blue I remembered my friend so I ran back to her, she was crying. That's when I heard the boys footsteps. I picked up my friend at sat her down at the nearest bench... 20 minutes later they came back yelling so I told my friend to be quiet and to let me handel it so about a half hour arguing I had an idea. Me and my friend invited 3 other friends to play basketball against them so it was a 5v5. If me and my friend won then they had to stop bulling forever and say sorry to everyone they were rude to. And if they won we had to do there homework for a week. My friend butted in and said How about if they win we do some charity work. That they had to do for school. Long story short we one and we all became friends
