Answer:

R=5.7

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius=\frac{Circumference}{2\pi }

R=\frac{36}{2(3.142)}

R=\frac{36}{6.284}

R=5.728835137

R=5.7

Hope this helped :)

The circumference of a circle is pi x 2 x radius.

To find the radius, divide the circumference by pi, then divide that by 2:

36/3.142 = 11.4576703

Radius = 11.4576703/2 = 5.7288

Rounded to one decimal place the radius is 5.7 units.

Two triangles are similar. The smaller triangle has side lengths 10, 20, and 15 units. The larger triangle's longest side is 52
nlexa [21]

Answer:

117

Step-by-step explanation:

So basically, how I figured it out is 20-15 is 1/4 of 20. So I had to find the 1/4 of 52 which is 13. But 15 is 3/4 of 20 so then you multiply 13 times 3 which is 39.

10 is half of 20. So you find half of 52. Which is 26.

52+39+26 is your equation.

Which adds up to 117. So 117 is your answer

I used 20 because in the smaller triangle 20 was the largest side like 52 in the biggest triangle.

In a triangle ABC shown below, side AB is 8 and side AC is 4
tia_tia [17]

Answer:  c) AD = 4 and AE = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

To prove that DE = (1/2) BC, we need to use a proportion that shows that AB = (1/2)AC and AE = (1/2)AD

We are given that AB = 8 and AC = 4 so we need AE = (1/2)AD

a) AD = 4, AE = 8

                         8 = (1/2)4

                         8 = 2          FALSE

b) AD = 2, AE = 4

                         4 = (1/2)2

                         4 = 1          FALSE

c) AD = 4, AE = 2

                         2 = (1/2)4

                         2 = 2          TRUE!

d) AD = 2, AE = 2

                         2 = (1/2)2

                         2 = 1          FALSE
