Select the equations where x = 8 is the solution. Select all that apply (select 3).
seraphim [82]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1. x - 2 = 10

x = 10 + 2 = 12

2. 40 = 5x

40/5 = x

x = 8

3. x/2 = 8

Multiply by 2 on both sides

x = 16

4. x + 14 = 24

x = 24 - 14 = 10

5. x + 2 = 10

x = 10 - 2 = 8

6. x/8 = 1

Multiply by 8 on both sides

x = 8
