Solution :

Cost of 1 kg super tea mixture

$=\frac{1(1600)+5(800)+1(1700)}{1+5+1}$

$=\frac{1600+4000+1700}{7}$

$=\frac{7300}{7}$

= 1042.8

≈ 1043

Include of cost blending and packaging.

So, cost of 1 kg is 1043 + 40 = 1083

Cost of packaging of 825 gram super tea = $\frac{825}{1000} \times 1083$

                                                                     = 893.47

What is the solution to the following system of equations?
Damm [24]

Answer:

(3, - 1 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

x - 3y = 6 → (1)

2x + 2y = 4 → (2)

Rearrange (1) expressing x in terms of y by adding 3y to both sides

x = 6 + 3y → (3)

Substitute x = 6 + 3y into (2)

2(6 + 3y) + 2y = 4 ← distribute and simplify left side

12 + 6y + 2y = 4

12 + 8y = 4 ( subtract 12 from both sides )

8y = - 8 ( divide both sides by 8 )

y = - 1

Substitute y = - 1 into (3) for corresponding value of x

x = 6 + 3(- 1) = 6 - 3 = 3

Solution is (3, - 1 )
