In the brain, circadian rhythms are regulated by the expression of several genes. These genes code for the proteins PER and TIM

which build up over time and at high levels cause the animal to ________. After a certain point, these proteins inhibit their own production, causing levels to decrease and the animal to ________

Answer:

Sleep.

Awaken.

Explanation:

The time and duration of circadian rhythms  are regulated  by the interactions of PER(period) and TIM(timeless) genes and their proteins. The TIM proteins  binds with PER- proteins and the two entered the cell nucleus to set up  circadian rhythms.

At midday the two genes becomes active, and their DNAs transcribed to form PER-RNA, and TIM -RNA. These RNAs accumulated in the cell nucleus   over some hours.

At dusk(night) the  amount  of these  RNAs reached highest levels.and are translated  to the PER and TIM -proteins, which bonded together and moved into the  cells nucleus causing  sleep in the animals.

Hours to dawn,(morning) the concentration of the two proteins exceeded their limit, and signals is sent to their genes to stop transcription, thus the protein(PER  and TIM) synthesis is stopped.

At almost dawn, the PER and TIM proteins disintegrates, the cycle begins again and the individual is awake.

In the initial period of learning, ________ describes when an organism learns to connect a neutral stimulus and an unconditioned
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

The given blank can be filled with acquisition.

Explanation:

An unconditioned stimulus provokes the unlearned response and an unconditioned response is the naturally taking place reaction. A neutral stimulus is illustrated as the stimulus that prior to conditioning do not generate any kind of response.

A type of learning wherein a subject begins to react towards neutral stimulus as it would perform with another stimulus by acquiring the path of associating the two stimuli is termed as classical conditioning.

An acquisition can be illustrated as the time of learning in classical conditioning where an individual begins to associate a neutral stimulus with an unconditioned stimulus that further permits the neutral stimulus to begin possessing the conditioned response.

An enzyme in a cell became dysfunctional because of an alteration. As a result, the DNA strands would not separate to begin the
yanalaym [24]

Answer:

C. Helicases

Explanation:

Helicases to be termed as enzymes that is blind and contains acid i.e. remodel nucleic or have protein i.e. nucleic acid. It is important as the time of DNA replication as it divided the DNA i.e. double stranded into one single standard that permits each and every strand for copied it

Also it cracks the bonds i.e. hydrogen that lies between the two strands this could create a replication fork.

Therefore in the given case, the helicases is affected
