The vascular cambium produces secondary phloem and xylem tissue.
Vascular cambium, a plant tissue located between the xylem and the phloem in the stem of a vascular plant. It is also the source of both secondary xylem growth and the secondary phloem growth. Vascular cambium is usually found on dicots and gymnosperms not on monocots which usually lack secondary growth. It does not transport water, dissolved food or minerals by plants.Vascular cambia are cylinders of unspecialized meristem cells which divide to make new cells which specialize to form secondary vascular tissues.

Where does an organism get its unique characteristics?
MrMuchimi

The right answer is: An organism's characteristics are determined by their genome which is inherited from one generation to the next.

We can give some characteristics of a living organism:

* The ability to stay alive by drawing energy and necessary components into the environment. This ability is based on the metabolism that includes various functions, such as nutrition, respiration, photosynthesis ...;

* The ability to develop according to a certain organization (growth, morphology, cell division, development);

* The ability to reproduce and give birth to other living organisms (vegetative or sexual reproduction);

* The need for a favorable environment to survive (temperature, pressure, oxygen, water ...).

Living matter is based on organic chemistry based on carbon.

Describe what happens to the amount of available oxygen as you get deeper in the ocean.
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer: The surface water is usually saturated with oxygen, absorbed from the atmosphere and from photosynthesis of algae. Which of the following environmental conditions would be MOST likely to result in transcription of the lac
Kruka [31]

Answer:

The correct answer is B high levels of lactose and high levels of cyclic AMP.

Explanation:

Lac operon contain 3 regulatory genes and 3 structural genes.In presence of lactose the repressor molecule that is encoded by Lac I gene cannot bound to the operator region.

        Bacause the lactose interact with the repressor and change its conformation so that it cannot repress the expression of the structural genes of lac operon.

  On the other hand cyclic AMP is a positive regulator of lac operon .The interaction of cyclic AMP with the promoter region of lac operon stimulates the binding of RNA polymerase in the promoter region to boost the expression of structural genes of lac operon such as Lac Z,Lac Y and Lac A.
