Answer:

Three measures of central tendency are mode, median, and mean. Mode is the most commonly occurring score in a distribution. Median is the middle score in a distribution. Mean or average is the sum of scores divided by the number of scores.    

Normal distribution or symmetric distribution means half of the scores are above the mean and half are below the mean. I<u>n a normal distribution, mode, mean, and median are the same. </u>

Skewed distribution means one tail of the curve is longer than the other. A positively skewed distribution has a long right tail. I<u>n this kind of distribution, mean, mode, and median are to the right of the peak.</u>
