First im gonna organize the numbers from smallest to biggest:
1, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 7, 8, 15, 15, 15 ( These are 11 numbers)

For mean, you have to add all the numbers then divide it by 11.
<u>The answer is about 7.5</u>

For median, you have to find the "middle number, but you have to organize the numbers from smallest to largest like I did.
1, 4, 4, 4, 4, <u>5</u>, 7, 8, 15, 15, 15 . <u>5 is the middle number</u>, well because its in the middle

For mode you have to find the number that is most repeated.
1, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 7, 8, 15, 15, 15  (there are three 15's)
There are four 4's so<u> the answer is 4</u>

<u>The answer, then is B</u>

The mean is the average, add up the numbers and divide by how many numbers there are.

\sf~Mean=\dfrac{15+1+4+4+8+7+15+4+15+4+5}{11}

Add:

\sf~Mean=\dfrac{82}{11}

Divide:

\sf~Mean\approx7.5

The median is the middle number. First, line up the numbers in order of least to greatest.

1, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 7, 8, 15, 15, 15

Now find the number in the middle:

That number is 5, so that's our median.

The mode is the most repeated number.

As you can see, 4 is repeated the most, so it's the mode.

A recursive rule for a geometric sequence is a1=49;an=3an−1 . What is the explicit rule for this sequence?
Nostrana [21]
The explicit rule for the geometric sequence is in the form,

              an = (a1)^(r -1)

where an is the nth term, a1 is the first term, and r is the common ratio. Substituting the known terms from the given above, we arrive to the explicit form of the sequence which is,

            an = 49^(3 - 1)

Find the length of XY with endpoints X(-2,7) and Y(-2,-8
Sholpan [36]
length=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}=\sqrt{(-2-(-2))^2+(-8-7)^2}\\=\sqrt{0^2+(-15)^2}=\sqrt{225}=15
