Given:

The figure of a triangle DEF.

To find:

The coordinate of image of given triangle after reflection over y-axis.

Solution:

The vertices of given triangle are D(1,4), E(4,3), F(2,0).

If a figure is reflected over the y-axis, then the rule of reflection is

(x,y)\to (-x,y)

Using this rule, we get

D(1,4)\to D'(-1,4)

E(4,3)\to E'(-4,3)

F(2,0)\to F'(-2,0)

Therefore, the coordinates of image are D'(-1,4), E'(-4,3) and F'(-2,0).

The frequency distribution shows the number of registered motor vehicles for a random sample of 200 California households.
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

1). Mean = 2.275

2). Median = 2 vehicles

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given table,

Number of vehicles (x)         Frequency (f)      (f)×(x)             Cumulative freq.

                  0                                    11                  0                           11

                  1                                     52                52                        63

                  2                                    66                132                      129

                  3                                    35                105                      164

                  4                                    19                  76                       183

                  5                                    12                  60                       195

                  6                                     5                  30                       200

                                                                          \sum (f\times x) = 455

Number of households = 200

Mean = \sum \frac{f.x}{n}

          = \frac{455}{200}

         = 2.275

Median = value of \frac{(n+1)}{2}th observation

             = value of \frac{201}{2}th observation

             = Value of 100.5th observation

             = Since 100.5th observation lies in the row of cumulative freq. = 129

             = 2

Therefore, median number of registered vehicles per California household

= 2 vehicles

Prove that: [1 + 1/tan²theta] [1 + 1/cot² thata] = 1/(sin²theta - sin⁴theta]
Stels [109]

Step-by-step explanation:

<h3><u>Given :-</u></h3>

[1+(1/Tan²θ)] + [ 1+(1/Cot²θ)]

<h3><u>Required To Prove :-</u></h3>

[1+(1/Tan²θ)]+[1+(1/Cot²θ)] = 1/(Sin²θ-Sin⁴θ)

<h3><u>Proof :-</u></h3>

On taking LHS

[1+(1/Tan²θ)] + [ 1+(1/Cot²θ)]

We know that

Tan θ = 1/ Cot θ

and

Cot θ = 1/Tan θ

=> (1+Cot²θ)(1+Tan²θ)

=> (Cosec² θ) (Sec²θ)

Since Cosec²θ - Cot²θ = 1 and

Sec²θ - Tan²θ = 1

=> (1/Sin² θ)(1/Cos² θ)

Since , Cosec θ = 1/Sinθ

and Sec θ = 1/Cosθ

=> 1/(Sin²θ Cos²θ)

We know that Sin²θ+Cos²θ = 1

=> 1/[(Sin²θ)(1-Sin²θ)]

=> 1/(Sin²θ-Sin²θ Sin²θ)

=> 1/(Sin²θ - Sin⁴θ)

=> RHS

=> LHS = RHS

<u>Hence, Proved.</u>

<h3><u>Answer:-</u></h3>

[1+(1/Tan²θ)]+[1+(1/Cot²θ)] = 1/(Sin²θ-Sin⁴θ)

<h3><u>Used formulae:-</u></h3>

→ Tan θ = 1/ Cot θ

→ Cot θ = 1/Tan θ

→ Cosec θ = 1/Sinθ

→ Sec θ = 1/Cosθ

<h3><u>Used Identities :-</u></h3>

→ Cosec²θ - Cot²θ = 1

→ Sec²θ - Tan²θ = 1

→ Sin²θ+Cos²θ = 1

Hope this helps!!

HALP PLeAASE i will give brainly ;D
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

the total amount is £756.

Step-by-step explanation:

given, monthly charge =£16

rate per min of call= £13 per min(150free calls )

rate per texts= £15per text (150 free text)

now, total calls made =170calls

total text = 180 text

now, minimum charge for 150 calls is free

so, left calls = 20 calls

charge for 20 calls= 20×£13

therefore, the charge for 20 calls is £260

now, for text

no. of text = 182-150=32

now, charge for 32 text =£ 15× 32

therefore the charge of 32 text is £ 480.

now, total amount = monthly charge + extra call charge+ extra text charge.

or, total amount = £16+£260+£480

=£756

<em>therefore</em><em>, </em><em> </em><em>the</em><em> </em><em>total</em><em> </em><em>amount</em><em> </em><em>is</em><em> </em><em>£</em><em>7</em><em>5</em><em>6</em><em>.</em>

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! CORRECT ANSWER ONLY PLEASE!!!
Burka [1]

Answer:  d) 0.9693

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

refer to the z-table attached.

The table shows the percent from the MEAN.  The percent below the mean is 50% so that needs to be added to the value in the table.

Look on the left side for 1.8 and the top for 0.07 (which is 1.87).

The value is 0.4693 --> add 0.5 to that value to get 0.9693.
