Answer:

seriously, talk to your teacher. its 21 units squared.

I guess the person who draw this had 18 units squared in mind, but failed to properly draw it.

so none of the options really fit. it's just a badly done problem. not your fault though. its just some of these little things to be just a little mad about.

Alona [7]
<span>c) 0.65*(P-35); $107.25

This can be easily found by elimination and plugging in.
We know it can't be "d" because that's the only answer with $95.00. It can't be "a" either because it starts with (P-0.35), unlike the other answers. Now you're left with "b" and "c".

We know that the original price is 200, which we plug in for "P".
b) </span><span>0.65*(P)-35
</span><span>0.65*(200)-35
130-35 = 95
This doesn't equal </span><span>$107.25, so it can't be the answer.
</span>
c) <span>0.65*(P-35)
</span><span>0.65*(200-35)
</span>0.65*(165) = <span>$107.25
Therefore the answer is C.</span>

The length of country and western songs is normally distributed and has a mean of 170 seconds and a standard deviation of 40 sec
Serga [27]

Answer: 0.1210

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The length of country and western songs is normally distributed with \mu=170 \text{ seconds}

\sigma=40\text{ seconds}

Sample size : n=16

Let x be the length of randomly selected country song.

z-score : z=\dfrac{x-\mu}{\dfrac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}

z=\dfrac{158.30-170}{\dfrac{40}{\sqrt{16}}}\approx-1.17

The probability that a random selection of 16 songs will have mean length of 158.30 seconds or less by using the standard normal distribution table will be

= P(x\leq158.30)=P(z\leq-1.17)

=0.1210005\approx0.1210

Hence, the probability that a random selection of 16 songs will have mean length of 158.30 seconds or less is 0.1210

What is the midpoint of the x-intercepts of f(x) = (x – 4)(x + 4)?
stellarik [79]
<span>f(x) = (x – 4)(x + 4) = x^2 - 4.  This is the equation of a parabola with vertex at (0,-4) and x-intercepts of (-2,0) and (2,0).  The midpoint of the line segment connecting these 2 points is (0,0).  Draw this situation and see for yourself!

For Question #1, use the graphs of f(x) and g(x) to evaluate go f (4).
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

0

Step-by-step explanation:

First you find what f(4) is equal to then you plug that into g(x), so in this situation f(4)=4 so we then look at g(4), which is equal to 0

Airport offers 2 shuttles that run on different schedules.if they both leave airport at 4:00 p.m. what time will they next leave
koban [17]
 basically have to find the lowest common multiply of 6 and 9.

The LCM of 6 minutes and 9 minutes = 18 minutes

so if they both leave at 4:00 p.m., they would then both leave at 4:18 p.m.
