Between which two square roots of integers could you find 2.7182818284
horsena [70]
Well 2.7182818284 is from euler's constant e.

Integers are whole numbers positive and negative. since 2.7182818284 is positive (and you can't take square root of negative number) the integers we find will be positive.

List out square roots.
sqrt1 = 1
sqrt 2 = 1.41
sqrt 3 = 1.73
sqrt 4 = 2
sqrt 5 = 2.2
sqrt 6 = 2.4
sqrt 7 = 2.6
sqrt 8 = 2.8 -----> this is over the constant.

so it's between the square root of 7 and 8

HELP ME OUT PLEASE I RLLY NEED IT ASAP. ):
LenaWriter [7]

(a) Slope is rise over run, or change in y over change in x.

1 -> 3 ( \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}} = \frac{4 - -8}{-1 - -5} = \frac{4 + 8}{-1 +5}= \frac{12}{4} =\frac{12}{4} )

2 -> 3 ( \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}} = \frac{1 - 7}{0 - 2} = \frac{-6}{- 2} =\frac{6}{2} )

3 -> -1/3 ( \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}} = \frac{-7 - -3}{6 - -6}= \frac{-7+3}{6+6}=\frac{-4}{12}=-\frac{1}{3} )

(b) If a line is parallel, the slopes will be the same. If they are perpendicular, the slopes will be are negative reciprocals of one another. If they are neither, then their slopes don't match up in any way.

1 & 2 -> Parallel

1 & 3 -> Perpendicular

2 & 3 -> Perpendicular

     Note - Since 1 & 2 are parallel, then both 1 and 2 will be perpendicular to 3!

Have a nice day!
