I would say this could be called a hurricane prediction model that models what track a hurricane will follow which is most likely computer based and includes as complete a set of variables about the hurricane as possible such as wind speed and direction, location, air temperatures, date and perhaps past behaviour of similar hurricanes among many other variables.

A 1300 mL sample of gas with a molar mass of 71.0 g/mol at STP has what density?
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

0.055g/mL

Explanation:

Data obtained from the question include:

Molar Mass of the gass sample = 71g/mol

Volume of the gas sample = 1300 mL

Density =?

The density of a substance is simply mass per unit volume. It is represented mathematically as:

Density = Mass /volume.

With the above equation, we can easily obtain the density of sample of gas as illustrated below:

Density = 71g / 1300 mL

Density = 0.055g/mL

Therefore, the density of the gas sample is 0.055g/mL

I need help with my chemistry homework. SHOW WORK
AysviL [449]

d=density, m=mass, v=volume

1. 17.2kg=17200g

so knowing that d=m/V, use V=m/d to calculate the volume

v=17200/5.75

and then devide by 1000 to convert cm3 to dm3 and the answer will be in dm3

2. d=m/v

v=0.5l

m=425g

so use the formula and you will get d=425/0.5=850g/l

3. use d=m/v again, but not before rewriting the formula for volume: m=vd and convert dm3 to cm3

1dm3=1000cm3

so 0.987dm3 =987 cm3

now m=987cm3 * 10.5g/cm3 and the answer will be in grams
