Answer: Machine A would have produced 20 more parts.

Step-by-step explanation:   So first you start of by doing machine B 80*2=160 then do half of 80 for one more hour so 40.

Add these together.. 80+80+40=200 Parts every 5 hours. For B..

Machine A produces 132 parts in 3 hours first you have to find what it makes per hour. So do 132÷3=44 this is how many parts is made per hour. To find the answer in 5 hours multiply 44*5 which is equivalent to 220.

So to compare machines A makes 220 parts in 5 hours, and

Machine B makes only 200 parts in 5 hours.

Hope this helps!

What is the only unknown (variable) needed to find the volume of a sphere?
yuradex [85]

Sphere

The radius of the sphere is the only unknown variable need to find the volume of a sphere.

Step-by-step explanation:

Sphere is a geometrical three dimensional round figure with every point on its surface equidistant from its center. It is a three dimensional representation of a circle. A line which connects from the center to the surface is called radius of the sphere. The diameter of the sphere is the longest straight line which passes through the center of the sphere.

The volume of sphere is given by:

Volume of sphere(V) = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^{3} \\

where V is the volume of the sphere

r is the radius of the sphere

\pi = \frac{22}{7}  = 3.14

Hence the only unknown variable to find the volume of a sphere is the radius.
