The answer you would be looking for is C. This is because both angles together form a right angle, making them complimentary!

The reason why it is not B as the other person answered is because supplementary makes 180 degrees. When that is not the correct answer to this question.

C is your answer! I hope that helped :)

Cookies are on sale! Today each cookie costs $0.75 less than the normal price. Right now if you buy 7 of them it will only cost
Anestetic [448]
Let's say that the price of each normal cookie is n.
The equation would then be 7(n - .75)=2.80.
Use distributive property, getting 7n - 5.25=2.80.
Add 5.25 to each side of the equation, getting 7n=8.05.
Divide 7 from both sides of the equation, getting n=1.15.

Line c passes through points (1, 14) and (7, 7). Line d is perpendicular to c. What is the slope of line d?
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

6/7

Step-by-step explanation:

Your first step will be to find the slope of Line C. Using the slope formula of \frac{y_{2}-y_1 }{x_2-x_1}, the slope of Line C is \frac{7-14}{7-1} = \frac{-7}{6}.

If Line D is perpendicular to C, that means the slope is the negative reciprocal of Line C. So, that means the slope is 6/7.
