But at the same time, they were questioning why they were separating from whites. As time passed, blacks and whites became united and were able to use the same public facilities. In modern day, blacks are no longer considered low class, they are treated equally as whites. Also, blacks and whites are able to use the same bathrooms, water fountains, etc. This case has changed history and has influenced many people in the United States.
