here: :)

I did the work, and basically i solved for the area of the faces and then multiplied that by two to get the total surface area of the faces. Then I added in the areas of the sides connecting the two faces:

just as a referral: the formulas to find the faces are as follows:

rectangle: length times width

circle: pi x r^2

trapezoid: h(base1 + base2)

and triangle: (b x h)/2

How to write the slope intercept form of the equation of the line through the given points?
Paha777 [63]
Slope intercept form of an equation is:
y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b is the t intercept.

First you must determine the slope of the line. This is a ratio of how fast the line travels up or down vs how fast it is moving to the right. Another name for this is rise over run. The equation to find the slope is:
m = (y1 - y2) / (x1 - x2)

now to find b. We can plug in one of the points of the equation into our first equation along with the slope to get out b value.

So if our 2 points were (2, 3) and (3, 4) we could find slope intercept form like this:
m = (2 - 3) / (3 - 4)
m = -1 / -1
m = 1
Now taking point (2, 3)
3 = 1 * 2 + b
1 = b
Finally to plug our m and b into equation for answer:
y = 1x + 1
However, 1 * anything is redundant therefore:
y = x + 1

PLZ ANSWER WILL MARK BRAINLIST 3O POINTS!!!!! How do you calculate the residuals for a scatterplot?
Vikki [24]

Answer:

So, to find the residual I would subtract the predicted value from the measured value so for x-value 1 the residual would be 2 - 2.6 = -0.6.

Determine the Type I error if the null hypothesis, H0, is: an electrician claims that no more than 10% of homes in the city are
kap26 [50]

Answer : There are no more than 10% of homes in the city are not up to the current electric codes but actually we do not have evidence to accept it.

Explanation:

The Type I error occurs when the null hypothesis is true but we reject it.

Given null hypothesis : H_0 : an electrician claims that no more than 10% of homes in the city are not up to the current electric codes.

The Type I error for the given situation is that there are no more than 10% of homes in the city are not up to the current electric codes but actually we do not have evidence to accept it.

A stack of bricks is 3 1/2 feet high. If each brick is 1 3/4 inches high, how many bricks are in the stack?
Arisa [49]
We have to divide 3 1/2 by 1 3/4:
3 1/2 : 1 3/4 = 7/2 : 7/4 = 7/2 * 4/7 = 2
