A company decided to pass a policy banning cell phones on their property. A group of employees collected signatures to protest.

Many of the co-workers who signed the petition were later fired because the petition was deemed disruptive.
The employees sued the company, claiming their employer violated their constitutional rights. What is the likely outcome of this lawsuit?

The employees will win because the Constitution prevents private companies from taking workers' phones.
The employees will win because the Constitution guarantees the right to speak freely on a cell phone at work.
The company will win because the employees are guilty of slander.
The company will win because it is a private business and speech can have consequences in private places.

The principle reason was the cost and the general public's opinion of the war back home in England. The phrase was used to encourage women to smoke during the 1920s. They had encouraged women to smoke to stop oppression and discrimination. They believe that by smoking in public places, they would be able to break off the social taboo between men and women.

Which is necessary for a society to be considered a civilization?
Kisachek [45]
The correct answer in my opinion would be that D is the most important factor here. But this question is quite tricky.

We can surely say for example that literature, organized schools and a hierarchy of priests are not something that constitute a civilization. Organized schools appeared to late, not every civilization had literature and having only a hierachy of priests is not enough to say you have a civilizaton.

Labor has been divided in pre-civilization hunter-gatherer societies as well.

For that reason I'd say the correct answer is D - more food than is needed for survival. Having this, the people in a certain group can focus on other things.
