Lincoln Steffens and Claude west more were muckrakers that wrote about st Louis what did they say
IRISSAK [1]

The term muckrakers was used to refer to reformist American journalists who attacked political leaders and instutions for their corrupt practices during the Progressive Era. Most of these journalists were popular due to their publications in popular magazines.

Lincoln Steffens and Claude Wetmore wrote an article about St Louis in 1902 in McClure's Magazine.

They wrote about how paradoxical was that people constinously showed pride in St Louis, and how this contrasted with the awful image of the city. They pointed out how people in St. Louis claimed to have very wealthy inhabitants, together with the best banks, industries, etc., but how at first sight it was possible to observe uncared-for streets, dirty alleys, a filthy hospital, the unfinished construction repairs in the town hall, etc.

Compute the structure factor for both the disordered and ordered states and determine which reflections are only present in the ordered state; these are known as superlattice reflections.

What is Superlattice Reflections?

A superlattice (SL) is a structure in which two different materials are grown in alternating layers to a specified thickness. home:

Nitride semiconductor light emitting diode (LED)

Therefore, Compute the structure factor for both the disordered and ordered states and determine which reflections are only present in the ordered state; these are known as superlattice reflections. Order and superlattice reflections: in the disordered state,Cu3aAuhas an fcc structure, with lattice parametera=0.3749Â nm. In the ordered state, Au occupies the corners of the cell, whereas the Cu atoms occupy the Gace centers. (Assume that the lattice parameter remains constant).

svetlana [45]
The most detrimental aspect of redrawing of territorial boundaries in Africa by Europeans was that they completely neglected the tribal boundaries that had been in place for centuries, meaning that rival tribes were forced into the same "country" which led to massive amounts of bloodshed.
