Nicolaus Copernicus and Galileo Galilei are among the most influential astronomers at the course of Scientific Revolution. They are closely related because they both support that Earth is not the center of the universe and even Galileo tried to convince the Catholic Church to accept the idea of Copernicus.

He saw that the European community was afraid of a war and was prepared to give him anything he wanted because of their appeasement policies. This is why he started making even more demands after and when no more things could be given, world war two broke out with a German invasion of Poland and the rest is history.
Due to the enlightenment time period he feared that they would uphold these new ideologies of liberty and man’s right to freedom. He was afraid that they would overthrow him and remove him from his control as a monarch. They were inspired by the American Revolution.
