Rhizobacteria are a group of bacteria that live in nodules on plant roots. Rhizobacteria can produce IAA and convert atmospheric

nitrogen into forms that can be used by plants. Plants release carbon-containing molecules into the nodules. Based on this information, identify the most likely ecological relationship between plants and rhizobacteria. Describe ONE advantage to the bacteria of producing IAA

Answer: Mutualism

Explanation:

Mutualism is the ecological interaction in which two species interact with each other and both the species receive the benefit. Here, the plant species and nitrogen fixing bacteria Rhizobacteria both are receiving benefits of association. The Rhizobacteria is producing IAA for plant and the plant is proving carbon containing molecules to the bacteria which is utilized by the bacteria for growth and colonization.

One advantage of the bacteria producing IAA is that it is the essential hormone for the plant growth. It ensures growth and development processes in plant. It is involved in cell differentiation, elongation, response towards light and gravity.

How do the cells in meiosis differ from the cells in mitosis?
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

C. Cells in meiosis have unique genetic information

Explanation:

Meiosis is the cell division that forms four daughter cells from one parent cell. It includes two successive divisions called as meiosis I and meiosis II. Crossing over during prophase I of meiosis I imparts new gene combinations to the daughter cells of meiosis. Hence, daughter cells formed by the end of meiosis have some new gene combinations, that is, unique genetic information.
