<h3>Answer: 22 degrees</h3>

=======================================

Explanation:

Use the law of cosines to isolate angle A

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2*b*c*cos(A)

3^2 = 5^2 + 7^2 - 2*5*7*cos(A) ... plug in a=3, b=5, c=7

9 = 25 + 49 - 70*cos(A)

9 = 74 - 70*cos(A)

74 - 70*cos(A) = 9

-70*cos(A) = 9 - 74 .... subtract 74 from both sides

-70*cos(A) = -65

cos(A) = -65/(-70) ... divide both sides by 70

cos(A) = 13/14

A = arccos(13/14) .... apply the arcosine function to both sides

A = 21.7867892982619

This rounds to 22 degrees

Nter the equation of the line in slope-intercept form.<br><br> Slope is 6, and (1, 3)
kupik [55]

Answer:

The equation in the slope-intercept form will be:

y=6x-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

  • slope = m = 6
  • point = (1, 3)

As we know that the equation of a line in point-slope form is

y-y_1=m\left(x-x_1\right)

substituting the values m = 6 and point = (1, 3)

y-3=6\left(x-1\right)

Writing the equation in slope-intercept form

y=mx+b

where m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept

so the equation of the line in slope-intercept form becomes

y-3=6\left(x-1\right)

add 3 to both sides

y-3+3=6\left(x-1\right)+3

y=6x-3

Therefore, the equation in the slope-intercept form will be:

y=6x-3

Hi can someone please help me?
marshall27 [118]
Both can be right because if the function goes up, turns and goes down, between x = -2 and x = 2, it can happen that  f(-2) = f(2) and then the average rate of change is [f(2) - f(-2)] / [2-(-2)] which is 0/4 = 0.

Four members from a "55"person committee are to be selected randomly to serve as chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, an
liq [111]

Answer:

8,185,320 different leadership structures

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the order at which the members of the committee are chosen matters, this is a permutation of 4 out 55 people and it is given by:

n=\frac{55!}{(55-4)!}=55*54*53*52 \\\\n=8,185,320

8,185,320 different leadership structures are possible.
