Aim of cinderella story
Charra [1.4K]
Hey there!
The theme of Cinderella in my opinion, is "good outcomes happen to those who work hard."
Cinderella was undoubtebly put in a bad situation. She had to work everyday for nothing, and watch her stepmother and stepsisters torture her while they went to balls and parties. Additionally, her father and mother died, so she must have been overwhelmed with grief, too.
But she kept going, and she moved on. She didn't stop, and one day, her opportunity came and she took it in an instant. She was able to marry the prince, and being a good person she gave her family a second chance- because everybody deserves one.
Hope this helps!

Ainat [17]
I believe the last one. A dangling modifier is a word or phrase that defines something or someone not spoken about in the sentence. So "a successful career as an author seemed certain", but seemed certain to who? A fair warning: I could be wrong.

In Abedi’s article “banning plastic straws - a look at how much it actually helps, and who it could hurt’ , the author describes
EastWind [94]

Answer: The phrase “low-hanging fruit” summarizes the purpose of the author in the article. "Low-hanging fruit" is a metaphor used to refer to an easily achievable target. The author uses it to imply that despite the understandable reasons to ban straws, they are a reachable solution for the ones that need them.

Explanation: The article includes different opinions about the advantages and disadvantages of banning straws. It states that after a video of a turtle that got hurt by a straw went viral, several people demanded straws to be prohibited. However, the author used the phrase “low-hanging fruit” to imply that, although their reasons are valid, people with mobility limitations need straws to drink, it is a reachable solution.
