Answer:  4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given , Roberto wants to display his 18 cards in an album.   (i)

Let x= Number of pages that hold 2 cards

y=  Number of pages that hold cards.

Then , total cards = 2x+3y

From  (i) , we have 2x+3y=18    ... (ii)

Now , Number of different ways Roberto displays his figures =Number of possible solutions for (x,y) , where x and y are any positive integers .

At x=0 ,

3y=18\Rightarrow y=6 , i.e. (0,6) is a solution .

At  y=0 ,

2x=18\Rightarrow\ x=9  , i.e. (9,0) is a solution.

At  x=3 ,

2(3)+3y=18\Rightarrow\ 3y=12\Rightarrow\ y=4  , i.e. (3,4) is a solution .

At  x=6 ,

2(6)+3y=18\Rightarrow\ 3y=6\Rightarrow\ y=2  , i.e.  (6,2) is a solution .

Since , Number of possible solutions for (a,b) =4

Therefore, the required number of different ways can Roberto display his figure is 4.

Explain how to find coordinates for Q
Vesna [10]

Answer:

Q = (4, - 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

DF is the diameter of the circle with center Q.

So, Q is the midpoint of DF.

By mid point formula.

Q =  \bigg( \frac{1 + 7}{2},  \:  \:  \frac{3 - 5}{2} \bigg) \\  \\ Q =  \bigg( \frac{8}{2},  \:  \:  \frac{ - 2}{2} \bigg) \\  \\ Q = (4, \:  \:  - 1)

Kaira's gross pay is $4,633. Her deductions total $1,009.13. What percent of hergross pay is take-home pay?Round to the nearest
Delvig [45]

Answer:

\text{ 78\%}

Explanation:

Here, we want to get the percentage of the gross pay is the take-home pay

Mathematically, we have to divide the take-home pay by the gross pay and multiply it by 100%

Her take-home pay is the difference between her gross pay and her deductions

We have this as:

\text{ 4633 - 1009.13 = \$3,623.87}

We have this as:

\frac{3623.87}{4633}\text{ }\times\text{ 100 \% = 78\%}
