Which practice, which was founded in age-old Buddhist and yoga practices, reflects a nonjudgmental, yet attentive mental state t
dezoksy [38]

A non-judgmental, attentive mental state that supports greater awareness and acceptance is reflected in Mindfulness practice, which has its roots in ancient Buddhist and yogic techniques.

What is mindfulness?

The English word mindfulness is often used to translate a Pali term found in the early Buddhist teachings, sati. In fact, the Buddha gave a set of instructions for meditation that became known as the Satipatthana Sutta, or “Discourse on the Establishing of Mindfulness.” And “right mindfulness” is one of the steps of the noble eightfold path, the path of practice taught by the Buddha, that would lead to awakening.

As far as we know, the Buddha’s definition of sati was pretty straightforward: it means keeping something in mind—that is, continuously remembering the object you’re aiming to keep your attention on. So when a Buddhist teacher talks about mindfulness of the breath—in meditation, for example—they’re talking about remembering the breath, maintaining your awareness on the breath.

Other meanings the Buddha connected with mindfulness in his discourse were being alert; being ardent; being intent; and experiencing with comprehension.

Listeners who are more concerned with making their point than with understanding the speaker are called_________________.
faltersainse [42]

Listeners who are more concerned with making their point than with understanding the speaker are called conversational narcissists.

A narcissist who is good at conversation will try to keep it focused on themselves and the things they know about or are interested in. If the topic of discussion changes, they become extremely disinterested in the conversation very soon. The conversational narcissist would receive eighty percent of the total time spent on the conversation. People who are conversational narcissists focus the conversation exclusively on themselves and withdraw when it shifts away from them. They have little to no interest in hearing what others have to say.

Use the terms separation of powers and checks and balances to describe how the U.S. Constitution set up the three branches of th
Novosadov [1.4K]

The Constitution limits the power of the national government by two methods, Federalism and Separation of Power. Federalism limits the power of the Federal Government by splitting powers to the National Government and the states, while some powers are shared among both. Separation of Powers limits the power of the government by dividing those powers to all three branches of government to make it more stable. The separation of powers was put into place so the federal government are kept distinct in order to prevent abuse of any power. Federalism was included in the U.S. Constitution to show how both the government and the state’s share equal power as well as share the same powers. The Constitution helps with limiting the powers of both the national government and the states to create a stable nation.
