Given:

m\angle ABC=65^\circ

m\angle BCD=105^\circ

To find:

Whether it is possible that Line AB intersects line CD.

Solution:

We have,

m\angle ABC=65^\circ

m\angle BCD=105^\circ

The angles m\angle ABC and m\angle BCD are same sided interior angles.

If two lines are parallel and a transversal line intersect them, then the same sided interior angles are supplementary angles and their sum is 180 degrees.

m\angle ABC+m\angle BCD=65^\circ+105^\circ

m\angle ABC+m\angle BCD=170^\circ

m\angle ABC+m\angle BCD\neq 180^\circ

So, the lines AB and CD are not parallel to each other.

Therefore, the intersection of lines AB and CD is possible.

denpristay [2]

Answer:

312 employees participated in the training

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

employee to instructor ratio is 24 to 2

there are 26 instructors for the training

let the total number of instructors be I = 26

let the total number of employees be e = ?

employee to instructor ratio is 24 to 2, e : I = 24 : 2

e : I = 24 : 2  = e : 26

\frac{24}{2} = \frac{e}{26} \\\\e = 12 *26\\\\e = 312

Therefore, the total number of employees who participated in the training is 312

Find the solution of the system of equations. – 5 - 6y = -32 4x - 6y = 4
amid [387]

Equation (1)

-5 - 6y = -32

Equation (2)

4x - 6y = 4

Get y alone in equation (1)

-5 - 6y = - 32\\-6y = -32 + 5\\-6y = -27\\y = \frac{-27}{-6} = \frac{9}{2}

Insert y in equation (2)

4x - 6 \cdot \frac{9}{2} = 4\\4x - 27 = 4\\4x = 4 + 27\\4x = 31\\x = \frac{31}{4}
