Plug the x value which is 2 back to the x and solve.

I gave you two answers because I wasn’t sure if the question was (x^2) - 2 or x^2-2.
Those two functions look similar but is totally different so keep that in mind.

Probability can be calculated using the formula
AveGali [126]
It really depends on the situation as probability depends on logic more than simple mathematical equations. However you must keep in mind a few principles:
1- P = number of possible outcomes of the event / total outcomes
2- P always less than or equal to 1.
3- For independent events A and B to occur simultaneously, P= P(A) x P(B)

Hey there,

Question #1

The answer would be in the attachment below.
_____________________________________________________________

Question #2

The answer would be in the attachment below.
_____________________________________________________________

Question #3

The answer would be in the attachment below.
_____________________________________________________________

Question 4#

The last one was kind of tricky. But, as I saw this attachment, I noticed on how the rectangle was actually 3/4 on the base and for the height, it was 1/2. So by doing this,we need to find the area, and we would multiply these both. 1/2 x 3/4 =  3/8 but by looking at your options, those are not simplified so . . .your answer would be 6/16 because 3x2=6 & 8x2=16.

I really hope this can help you Amanda.

Have a great day! =)

Round 4.675 to the nearest cent
Viktor [21]
Money is written out to the hundredths place, so when rounding to the nearest cent, round to the hundredths place. In 4.675, the 7 is in the hundredths place. The value to its right, 5, is greater than 4, so the 7 is rounded up to 8. So 4.675 to the nearest cent is 4.68
