What the atmosphere does for us can be known as the Greenhouse Effect. Without the atmosphere, the temperatures on the earth would be below freezing. The atmosphere also protects every living thing from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. The atmosphere provides oxygen for humans and animals to breath which we then give carbon dioxide for plants to live and produce more oxygen. It's a mutual relationship. I hope this helped!

Describe the purpose of the Nucleus in a cell / discuss the DNA structure inside of the nucleus and what is the job of DNA and h
liberstina [14]
The nucleus is able to control and regulate the rest of the cell(it basically tells it what to do). The DNA is made up of chromosomes, the DNAs shape is a double helix and is tightly packed inside of the nucleus. The job of the DNA is to regulate the rest of the cell and tell the cell what kind of cell it is and what job it needs to do(ex all cells are different so the dna determines the type of cell like a bone cell or blood cell) this ties in with genetic because your dna makes up your cells and your cells make up who you are.

Which of the following describes a phenomenon that occurs when we observe plants that wilt?
ololo11 [35]

The xylem releases all its water when we observe plants that wilt.

Answer: Option C

Explanation:

Wilting is a process where the plant loses its rigidity and droops down. To understand it better the water is absorbed through the roots and aids in the functioning of the plant. The excessive water is stored inside the vacuole when during water scarcity releases water.

But during the drought conditions the water is lost completely causing the leaves to shrink. The xylem starts releasing all its water leaving a less surface area. Hence the leaf shrinks and wilting occurs.

What happens to DNA before cell division?
Tju [1.3M]
Since two daughter cells will be created during cell division, the DNA needs to duplicate itself so that each cell gets the same DNA as the parent cell. it then condenses into chromosomes that are symmetrical, with each sister chromatid on either side containing identical information.
