Answer:You first would do 1/2 x 4/3 becuase when dividing numbers you use the keep change and flip method. So 1/2 you keep, you change the division sign into a multiplication sign and then 3/4 you flip into 4/3. After that you should have 1/2 x 4/3 and that gets you 4/6. So 4/6 would be your answer but simplified it would be 2/3. - Hope this helps!

Answer:

Many options - 4/6 or 2/3 or 0.66

Step-by-step explanation:

When dividing fractions, we use KCF (keep, change, flip) so our new equation is 1/2 x 4/3. Just multiply! Your answer should be 4/6, and if it needs to be simplified, the answer is 2/3. The answer as a decimal is 0.66 !

Answer:

AB= AC times AE/AD

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

For this case we have by definition, that the equation of a line in the slope-intersection form is given by:

y = mx+b

Where:

m: It's the slope

b: It is the cutoff point with the y axis

We need two points through which the line passes to find the slope:

(0,1)\\(1, -2)

We found the slope:

m = \frac {y2-y1} {x2-x1}\\m = \frac {-2-1} {1-0} = \frac {-3} {1} = - 3

So, the equation is of the form:

y = -3x + b

We substitute a point to find "b":

1 = -3 (0) + b\\1 = b

Finally, the equation is:

y = -3x+1

AB =<br>Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.<br>B<br>5<br>2<br>40
Semenov [28]

Answer:

AB = 6.53

Step-by-step explanation:

cos theta = adjacent/ hypotenuse

cos 40 = 5/ AB

AB cos 40 = 5

AB = 5/ cos 40

AB = 6.527036447

Round to the nearest hundredth

AB = 6.53

Question 8b , thanks
marta [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a = \frac{2b+1}{3b-1}

b = 2/3

2b + 1 = 2*\frac{2}{3}+1\\\\=\frac{4}{3}+1\\\\=\frac{4}{3}+\frac{3}{3}\\\\=\frac{7}{3}\\\\3b-1 = 3*\frac{2}{3}-1\\\\=2- 1 = 1\\\\\\

a = \frac{2b+1}{3b-1}\\\\a=\frac{\frac{7}{3}}{1}\\\\=\frac{7}{3}\\\\

a = 7/3

b)

\frac{2b+1}{3b-1}=a\\\\

Cross multiply,

2b + 1 = a*(3b - 1)

2b + 1 = a*3b - 3*a

2b + 1 = 3ab- 3a

2b = 3ab - 3a - 1

2b - 3ab = -3a  - 1

b(2 - 3a) = -3a - 1

b =\frac{-3a - 1}{2 - 3a}

△QRS is rotated about point P to △Q′R′S′ . Which statements are true about the pre-image and image?
yuradex [85]

Note that rotation will not affect the shape and size of an object.

Rotation with respect to a point preserves the corresponding sides and the corresponding angles of the original image.

Hence, the statements

The corresponding angle measurements in each triangle between the pre-image and the image are preserved and

The corresponding lengths, from the point of rotation, between the pre-image and the image are preserved

are true.
