The square root of 4/16 is 2/4 or 1/2 in both cases. You take the square root of the top and bottom separately and put it into a fraction. The square root of 36/49 is 6/7

Help in Circumference of a circle A small pizza has a diameter of 21 cm.
Novay_Z [31]

The circumference of any circle is (pi) x (the diameter of the circle).

The problem gives you both numbers, so all you have to do is multiply them.

Circumference = (pi) x (diameter) = (3.14) x (21cm) = <em>65.94 cm .</em>

At a certain pizza parlor, % of the customers order a pizza containing onions, % of the customer's order a pizza containing saus
wel

Answer:

At a certain pizza parlor,36 % of the customers order a pizza containing onions,35 % of the customers order a pizza containing sausage, and 66% order a pizza containing onions or sausage (or both). Find the probability that a customer chosen at random will order a pizza containing both onions and sausage.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

You have the following possible pizza orders:

Onion ⇒ P(on)= 0.36

Sausage ⇒ P(sa)= 0.35

Onions and Sausages ⇒ P(on∪sa)= 0.66

The events "onion" and "sausage" are not mutually exclusive, since you can order a pizza with both toppings.

If two events are not mutually exclusive, you know that:

P(A∪B)= P(A)+P(B)-P(A∩B)

Using the given information you can use that property to calculate the probability of a customer ordering a pizza with onions and sausage:

P(on∪sa)= P(on)+P(sa)-P(on∩sa)

P(on∪sa)+P(on∩sa)= P(on)+P(sa)

P(on∩sa)= P(on)+P(sa)-P(on∪sa)

P(on∩sa)= 0.36+0.35-0.66= 0.05

I hope it helps!

The area of room is 812 square feet, cost of carpet to cover the room is $6739.6 and the remaining square feet of carpet are covered by furniture is 203 square feet.

<h3>What is the area of trapezoid?</h3>

The area of the trapezoid is the space occupied by it on the two dimensional plane. The area of this figure is half of the product of height and sum of sides.

A=\dfrac{(a+b)h}{2}

Here, (a and b) are the base sides of the trapezoid and (h) is the height.

A room is shaped like a trapezoid which has the height of 28 feet and the length of sides as 23 ft and 35 ft. Thus, the area of it is,

A=\dfrac{(a+b)h}{2}\\A=\dfrac{(23+35)28}{2}\\A=812\rm\; ft^2

Carpet costs $8.30 per square foot. Thus, the cost of carpet with area 812 ft² is,

C=812×$8.30

C=$6739.6

Furniture covers 25% of the floor. Thus, the remaining square feet of carpet are covered by furniture is,

A=\dfrac{25}{100}\times812\\A=203\rm\; ft^2

Thus, the area of room is 812 square feet, cost of carpet to cover the room is $6739.6 and the remaining square feet of carpet are covered by furniture is 203 square feet.
