Answer:

a. As vapor condenses, it depends (<em>specifically; leads to</em>) rain or snow on the windward slope

Explanation:

The orographic effect which is the changes in masses of air as  it moves along the mountain sides, up or down is the way the mountains have an effect on the climate

The orographic effect of mountains can be analyzed based on either the windward side, (which is the side that faces the incoming wind), or the leeward side (which is the opposite side of the mountain)

The moist and warm air from the oceans and other large water bodies are carried by wind onto the mountains where the moist wind is directed upward by the obstructing mountain wall.

As the elevation of the warm moist wind increases along the mountain, the cooler temperatures at the high altitudes forces the air to cool down, until the dew point is reached, which leads to precipitation of rain or snow.

Explain why genes located more than 50 map units apart behave as if they are not linked.
OlgaM077 [116]
This is on account of every chromosome just has up to 50 units so when it surpassed this number it's on an alternate chromosome, along these lines it can't be connected.
One can decide whether qualities are connected or not by taking a gander at the posterity and deciding the recombination recurrence you can do this by taking the aggregate number of posterity that were recombined and partitioning it by the aggregate

Talja [164]
<h2>Anterior-posterior orientation</h2>

Explanation:

Flatworms have an anterior-posterior orientation and as a result more coordinated and deliberate movement is established

  • Flatworms also called Platyhelminthes are a phylum of relatively simple soft-bodied invertebrate animals
  • They are the largest phylum of acoelomates and are found in marine, freshwater and even in some damp terrestrial environments
  • Movement in some flatworms is controlled by longitudinal, circular and oblique layers of muscle
  • Flatworms anterior end helps in moving towards their food while the posterior end ensures that these organisms walk away from irritants
