Enzymes are protein molecules which serve as catalysts for chemical reactions. A catalyst is a substance which will decrease the activation energy for a reaction. ..... Enzymes will make reactions occur much more easily , quickly and more efficiently than they ever would without the enzyme .

-A biome is a major, geographically extensive ecosystem, structurally characterized by its dominant life forms. Biomes are classified by the amount of rain they receive and what the temperature level is.  Climate variation with special emphasis on  moisture or precipitation may be used to differentitate biomes into various types.

-Terrestrial biomes are usually distinguished on the basis of the major components of their nature or climax vegetation, while aquatic biomes, especially marine ones, are often characterized by their dominant animals.
