The novel is the outsiders
finlep [7]
I don't really understand the poem. I can tell you a couple of thing about the poem that remind me of the outsiders. In the outsiders Ponyboy and the other kid (his name escapes me) ran away after he stabbed another kid. This reminded me of when the poem said "They'd banish -- you know!" because the reason they ran away is so they wouldn't get arreste so I think being banished is sort of like being arrested. I hope I helped. Please give me the brainliest.

Otrada [13]

Answer:

The title of Doris Lessing’s “No Witchcraft for Sale” is ironic because there is witchcraft involved in Gideon’s responses to the scientists.

Explanation:

After the event in this excerpt, and the full recovery of Teddy, The Farquars told around how this "magic" plan of Gideon had made the miraculous cure, then one day a scientist after listening to the story paid The Farquards a visit to their house to know how was the plant used and what plat was it, after not giving direct answers and being evasive Gideon tells the scientist that witchcraft or native plant remedies are not for sale. It is Irony because everyone wanted to pay for something that they couldn't buy and people wanted to sell something that they didn't possess, the only person in known was no interested in being part of it.

What is the book Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles about? What is the summary?
nikdorinn [45]

Written by Simone Elkeles, the Perfect Chemistry is a Romantic Novel.

Explanation:

The story revolves around Brittany and Alex who are lovers, are so different but still bounces back overcoming the prejudices and breaking all the stereotypes.

Brittany comes from a wealthy family whereas Alex is from a poor family, he is also member of a local gang. Far from perfect, both Alex and Brittany are different in personalities as opposed to how they present themselves.

They, incidentally, are made partners in the chemistry class and the whole story progresses how they start liking each other and undergo some misunderstanding, but eventually overcome all the obstacles and want to marry each other

Answer: D

                                                  Explanations:

A. Is angry that the coffee is too weak. I don't believe this is the answer, because, "blinked red eyes at the weak brew of coffee" Isn't the main idea or key detail, and isn't important at all.

B. Doesn't appreciate the effort of the narrator to make breakfast. Not really the answer, because if the mom didn't really appreciate the breakfast, it would've shown more evidence for that. Besides, some people wake up cranky ;w;

C. Is frustrated that she had been woken up by the narrator. No. Nowhere in the second paragraph it says that the mom was woken up by the narrator.

D. Feels very tired even after a good night's sleep. Yes. I believe this is the answer because in paragraph 1, the narrator made sure the TV was low so the mom could sleep. In paragraph 2, It's obvious that the mom feels very tired because of these clues: Yawned a hat-sized yawn, and blinked red eyes.
