5 0

Answer:

3

9

21

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first one use the law of total probability

B=A∩B+A'∩B

12=9+A∩B

A∩B= 3

For this one you should use demorgans law and the union formula

(A'∩B')=(AUB)'

AUB= A+B-A∩B

6+12-3=15

15'= 24-15 = 9

For this one use demorgans law again

(A'UB')=(A∩B)'

(A∩B)'= 24-A∩B= 24-3= 21

What is the value of x in the equation 7x + 2y = 48 , when y = 3?<br><br> x =
Dennis_Churaev [7]
Plug in 3 for "y":

7x + 2y = 48

7x + 2(3) = 48

2*3 = 6

7x + 6 = 48
Then, you have to subtract 6 to both sides..

7x = 42

Divide 7 to both sides and the your answer would be 6

Kristina and Darrin are running around a circular track with the same angular speed. Darrin is running on the inside lane which
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

10 ft/s

Step-by-step explanation:

If Kristina is running at a rate of 11 ft/s and on a circular track with radius of 44 ft, then her angular speed is:

\omega_K = \frac{v_K}{r_K} = \frac{11}{44} = 0.25 rad/s

And so is Darrin's angular speed. That means his rate is

v_D = \omega_D * r_D = 0.25 * 40 = 10 ft/s
